Inside the bright and colorful fashion studio, Milo, Lofty, and Lark are enjoying an ice cream break while waiting for the fashion designer to return. Lofty is proudly holding the dress design for the upcoming show. But then—oops!—a scoop of ice cream plops right onto the fabric. Panic sets in. They quickly grab tissues and try to clean it, but the stain only spreads and makes things worse. Just when they’re about to give up, Lark gets an idea: what if they turn the stain into part of the design? Using scraps of fabric and a few clever touches, they rework the dress to include patterns and colors inspired by the spill. When the designer returns and sees the result, she’s amazed by the creativity. She loves it even more than the original!
